| Abstract
V. A. KHAKHLOV & V. A. SELEVIN: The birds of the Semipalatinsk area Ornithological observations were made around Semipalatinsk, in the present Semipalatinsk Region of Kazakhstan, and also in south-western part of the present Altaiski Krai (Altaiski Region) of Russia, by V.A.Khakhlov in 1904-1920 and by V.A.Selevin in 1914-1927. 172 bird species were listed, among them Apus a. pekinensis. This is a common breeding species and is also seen in large numbers on migration in both spring and fall. - Igor Fefelov |
