During studies carried out in the area of Elburs (Iran) in May 2005, breeding Swifts were recorded in Teheran, Keredzh, the Khodzhir and Vardzhin protected areas, the Dizin Pass and in the upper stream of the Keredzh River (Alpine Swift) [p. 125], in Karansurd and Mobarakiye near the Semnan national park (both species) [p. 128]. and the Lar protected area near Demavent Mt. ("swifts") [p. 127].
